The New Year is Here!

As we look back on 2021, we realize how powerful God is. Despite the hardships that some may have endured during this year, Lighthouse Christian Fellowship is here to welcome the new year and to give thanks in His name. Remember as we close out this year, to reflect back on the blessings that God gave you and to give thanks to Him for those blessings. “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” (1 Chronicles 16:7) (NIV). Not all events that we experienced this year may have been a good one but look for the blessing and give thanks. Often times these blessings are hard to find because the event was devastating or just plain illogical to our human minds. Remember that God will see us through it all and will have a light shining for us to guide us through our darkest time.

Focus on the future and pray to understand what God has planned for you. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’“(Jeremiah 29:11) (NIV) God wants us focused on His plan and through prayer and meditation we can discover what that plan is. Stop worrying about what you think is to come. When we worry or give in to our anxiety, we take away time that could be spent with God. Trust in Him and pray. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.” (Philippians 4:6) (NIV).
Be blessed my friends and may God shower you with His love.

Pastor Pete Armendariz

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

What is a Statement of Faith?

A statement of faith reveals the doctrine of the church. They state what the church believes in and helps the church leaders to teach the congregation with the same foundation of belief. We have listed our Statements of Faith here for everyone to view and understand what our church is about.
